The “Tapa” culture in Spain, originated in Andalusia, being Seville the regional capital, still leads in the amount of tapa bars anywhere on the Iberian Peninsula. So we wanted to design an interesting Seville Tapas Crawls tour, that will allow you to benefit greatly from having a local guide you through the process of visiting the best bars on either side of the river.
Keep in mind that tapas are enjoyed with local beer and wine. Each bar is unique and has its own traditions, style, history, specialties and loyal local and visiting clientele. Be forewarned, these venues, are lively, often quite loud and at times, a wee bit crowded. However, that is part of the fun and adventure, have an open mind and enjoy! Our innovative apie, Seville Walking Tours, “Tapa Crawl” excursions, will include visits to some of the most iconic and legendary bars, where you will be able to enjoy local Seville dishes like cod fish fritters, Iberic ham, spicy potato dishes, stuffed olives, gourmet sardines, “gazpacho” and famous Andalusian cheeses, like Manchego and more.
Once our guide has introduced you to the Seville ‘tapa’ scene, you will be free to linger and wander the streets and alleyways of either Triana or Santa Cruz, enjoying the evening into the wee small hours….
