19 Oct Skip the line to the Alcazar of Seville
Is it possible to skip the line to the Alcazar of Seville? The goal in this post is to discuss this question, in order to avoid any misunderstanding and doubts.
Discover the Alcazar for free
At the time of discovering this magical place, you find two different scenarios. The first, when you decide to go inside by yourself, without booking a guided. That is, without being accompanied by a tour guide. If you´ve chosen this option, it will be difficult not to wait a long time. As a result, I would recommend you going early in the morning, even a few minutes before the opening time (the monument open at 09:30 am.). The queue probably will be shorter than at midday, for example.
It also would be a good option going at the last moment. The palace closes at 17:00 in winter and at 19:00 in summer. Therefore, my advice is to enter into the monument around one hour and a half before; thus, you´ll have time enough to see its essential parts. But watch out, this option is not available on Monday; this day the last hour is free so the line is extremely long.
Anyway, it´s always long at any time during the high season. So if you come to Seville in october, march, april or may, you must be patient!
To enter with a tour guide
The second way is to enter into the Alcazar with a tour guide. The entrance is different, with a shorter line and much faster. But be careful, don´t be fooled. It´s not completely right that you can skip the line to the Alcazar of Seville.
Why? Because sometimes the guided groups are very big, and you also have to wait to enter. Unfortunately, you can read in many places and websites the sentence “skip the line”. And people check it´s not true, so they become disappointed.
The true thing is than the most part of the days you save time. Moreover when the guided groups are small. Thus, in apie we invite you to our english tour into the Alcazar of Seville. You´ll enjoy a priority access and a quality guided visit.
