While in Seville, why not taking a White Washed Villages day trip to explore these breathtaking enclaves!
Andalusia is world known for its white washed villages and towns, sloping down from hills and cliffs, not far from either the Atlantic Ocean, or the Mediterranean Sea.
Here, you will notice that these hamlets, either have Muslim or Christian influences in their architecture. Many are contrasted in blue frames, on doors and windows. Their roofs feature the typical Andalusian red tiles. If mother nature cooperates, she will frame these vistas with intense, piercing blue skies and brilliant sunshine. This is a tour you will never forget!
We will collect you at your hotel and depart Seville early in the morning, towards Cadiz, on the Atlantic coast. The first stop could be the village of Arcos De La Frontera, with its dramatic mountain tops and valleys below.
Then, you will experience “Zahara De La Sierra”, another, White washed town, not to be missed.
You will see stunning homes adorned with potted plants and flowers, ornate metal door and window treatments.
As part of this experience, we will share the process of olive oil making, stop for a meal of locally made produce and have a chance to recharge as the day progresses.
We will also have a segment for biking, for those wishing to experience some of the towns in this way.
At days end, you will be happily exhausted, but filled with a myriad of images, unique to this part of Spain.
