We usually go to bars and taverns with a special flavour, in particular to those that have preserved the local tradition, seeming immune to the passing of time. Entering there, we taste the most traditional tapas of the city. For example,\u00a0the “pav\u00edas de bacalao”<\/em> (Pav\u00edas Cod); the “espinacas con garbanzos”<\/em> (spinach with chickpeas) and the “carrillada Ib\u00e9rica”; or<\/em>\u00a0the “gazpacho andaluz<\/em>” and\u00a0the “jam\u00f3n de pata negra<\/em>” (pata negra ham).<\/p>\n

We enjoy the traditional \u201cpesca\u00edto frito<\/em>\u201d (fried fish) combined with a glass of manzanilla in the emblematic barrio de Santa Cruz<\/strong>, as a local would do. We cool off with a frozen beer matched with a tapa<\/strong> of “papas ali\u00f1\u00e1s<\/em>” (dressed potatoes) close to the Guadalquivir River in Triana<\/strong>, surrounded by people of the neighborhood. And why not having a “montadito de pring\u00e1<\/em>\u201d (pring\u00e1 sandwich) admiring the majestic Giralda<\/strong> Tower?
