We can take a plain and enjoy a few days\u00a0in some place you were looking forward visiting. At least a couple days in a nice city, a relaxing beach or a mountainous landscape, for example. Any excuse is good to pack your suitcase and break out of the routine.<\/p>\n

We\u00b4ll use as an example two mornings and afternoons, but of course you can fit all the places as you wanted.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

First day in Seville<\/h1>\n

Morning:<\/em><\/p>\n

We recommend you to keep in contact with the city, walking around its more emblematic places. For example going to the lively\u00a0Virgen de los Reyes<\/em>\u00a0square. It\u00b4s a perfect place to\u00a0\u00a0stare \u00a0at the pride of the city, the\u00a0Giralda<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0tower.<\/p>\n

It\u00b4s placed nearby the\u00a0Cathedral of Seville\u00a0<\/strong>It\u00b4s\u00a0a majestic temple which overwhelming size will shock you while you walk around it towards the\u00a0Triunfo<\/em>\u00a0square. Here the historic walls of the\u00a0Alcazar\u00a0<\/strong>will invite you to go inside, and complete your first half day in the city.<\/p>\n

After the visit probably you\u00b4ll begin to starve. So we recommend you to taste some\u00a0tapas<\/em>\u00a0around the\u00a0Arenal<\/strong>, with\u00a0plenty of restaurants and taverns that offer the most traditional\u00a0tapas.\u00a0<\/em>For example\u00a0like the\u00a0carrill\u00e1 ib\u00e9rica<\/em>\u00a0(pork cheeks in sauce) or the\u00a0espinacas con garbanzos<\/em>\u00a0(spinach with peas)<\/em>.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1\/2″][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n

After lunch:<\/em><\/p>\n

We recommend you to visit in the afternoon the popular\u00a0Triana neighborhood<\/a>,\u00a0<\/strong>but first discovering el\u00a0Arenal.<\/strong>\u00a0It was the old port area of\u00a0Seville<\/strong>\u00a0when it played an important role in the trading exchange with America. It\u00b4s also the area where\u00a0Plaza de Toros de la Maestranza<\/strong>\u00a0(bullfighting arena) is placed.<\/p>\n

Taking care of one side of the\u00a0Guadalquivir river,\u00a0<\/strong>stands the\u00a0Torre del Oro (Golden tower)<\/strong>. It\u00b4s pleasant to rest a few minutes feeling the breeze produced by the\u00a0big river (<\/em>the meaning in\u00a0arab).<\/p>\n

Now it\u00b4s time to cross the famous\u00a0Puente de Triana<\/strong>. Immerse yourself in its most emblematic streets, like\u00a0San<\/em>\u00a0Jacinto<\/em>,\u00a0Pureza<\/em>\u00a0and of course\u00a0Betis,\u00a0<\/em>where you can enjoy a stunning view of the other side.<\/p>\n

Take advantage of the abundance of charming restaurants in Triana, and taste dishes as the popular\u00a0pesca\u00edto frito (fried fish).<\/em>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n

Second day in Seville<\/h1>\n

Morning:<\/em><\/p>\n

You could spend the\u00a0second morning of your weekend in Seville discovering the\u00a0Cathedral<\/strong>;\u00a0it\u00b4s one of the town\u00b4s monuments inscribed in the\u00a0World Heritage Sites<\/em><\/strong><\/a>\u00a0by UNESCO. It\u00b4s not only\u00a0one of the biggest Christian temples in the world<\/strong>, but also is an important museum which hosts treasures and priceless pieces of art.<\/p>\n

Leave some time to stare at the beautiful plateresque fa\u00e7ade of the City Hall, in the\u00a0San Francisco square. Or\u00a0<\/em>go inside<\/em>\u00a0the impressive\u00a0<\/em>Salvador church<\/strong><\/a>, sited in the middle of\u00a0Seville\u00b4s shopping area.\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

At midday we recommend you to get to\u00a0Plaza de Espa\u00f1a<\/strong>, the emblematic square belonging to the\u00a0Iberoamerican Exposition<\/strong>\u00a0celebrated in 1929. Besides, the stroll from the city center to Plaza de Espa\u00f1a is really interesting, with places like\u00a0San Telmo Palace<\/strong>, the\u00a0old Tobacco Factory<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0or the\u00a0Alfonso XIII hotel.<\/strong><\/p>\n

After the visit you can lunch in the colorful\u00a0El<\/strong>\u00a0Porvenir<\/strong>\u00a0neighborhood, next to Plaza de Espa\u00f1a.\u00a0You\u00b4ll find\u00a0several places where you can order a plate of\u00a0jam\u00f3n ib\u00e9rico<\/em>\u00a0(Iberian jam)\u00a0with a glass of\u00a0manzanilla<\/em>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Enjoy a few minutes of peaceful moments under the shade produced by any of its beautiful and high trees.<\/p>\n

We would have left for the evening one of the\u00a0essential places to visit in Seville<\/strong>: getting lost through the narrow streets of the popular\u00a0Santa Cruz<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0neighborhood. It was the old Jewish quarter a long time ago and nowadays a charming and mysterious place; its\u00a0white houses and\u00a0patios<\/em>\u00a0(courtyards) embellished with plants and flowers are the essence of Andaluc\u00eda.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n
